The first DAW-native proof system for music.
A macOS Audio Unit that observes real session workflow and issues a signed receipt tied to the exact bounce you export.

Your months of work, proven through session workflow. No screenshots or back and forth. Just the receipt

Export-Path Proof
Proof is captured where it matters: during export. When armed, SaneMode binds the receipt to the exact render you bounced, tying it to that file alone.

Workflow Indicators
SaneMode can record a limited set of optional workflow indicators that add observable context around an export, such as play, stop, record activity, MIDI presence, and other signals available in your setup.

Built for macOS DAWs
SaneMode currently supports macOS and has been tested in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, and REAPER. Future releases may expand to additional DAWs and operating systems.

Proof is hands-off, local-first, and on your terms.
SaneMode runs quietly on the master bus while you work. It captures a limited set of privacy-minimized signals to support the receipt, keeps everything local by default, and can be paused or disabled at any time. No playable audio leaves your machine.
What a SaneMode session looks like

1. Add to Master Bus
Add SaneMode to your master bus and let it run while you work. It captures limited workflow indicators and continuity checkpoints to support the receipt. The Session Timeline is an overview, not a diary, so receipts do not export a minute-by-minute session log.
2. Stay in the Session
SaneMode runs hands-off so you can stay focused on the session. Open the panel anytime to see coverage and what's currently eligible for the receipt.
3. Export
Arm SaneMode, then export stems or a master. During export, SaneMode creates a one-way render fingerprint and issues a signed receipt for that file. The receipt shows what was observed, what wasn’t, and lets you verify later on the same machine that the file still matches.

A receipt that actually means something. Designed for technical scrutiny
Export-Path Proof
Not a sticker. During export, SaneMode ties the receipt to the render it observed instead of something attached afterward. Verification checks the file against the receipt. If they don’t match, it fails.
Single Signing Authority
Receipts are issued through a trusted local signer, not directly by the plug-in. That keeps final proof behind a separate signing boundary, rather than letting the AU issue it by itself.
Fail-Closed Honesty
If something can’t be observed or verified, the receipt says so with explicit gaps and more limited coverage. Nothing gets filled in by assumption. If something isn’t observed, it isn’t treated as evidence.
Session Timeline & Evidence Basis
SaneMode keeps a reviewable record of the workflow context behind a receipt, stored so later changes are visible. You can review what it was based on before you share it.
Tamper-Evident Storage
Proof artifacts live in a local Vault designed to preserve integrity across real-world file handling. It keeps records in order, links them together, and makes later changes easier to spot.
Local Verification
You can verify receipts locally on the same machine with a simple pass/fail check that confirms the receipt still matches the file. No accounts required, no “trust us.”
